Tips for using the safety strap

Our BABOLAT padel rackets come with a safety strap, standard and mandatory according to the International Padel Federation regulations.
Its role is to prevent possible accidents by holding the racket if it accidentally slips from the player’s hands. The strap is designed exclusively for this function.
Any other use, such as intentionally and repeatedly releasing the racket during a rally, risks prematurely damaging the strap, which could detach from the racket.

Advice for storing and maintaining your BABOLAT padel racket

To ensure the longevity of your padel racket and maintain its properties, we recommend:
- Storing it in a dry environment, away from direct light and extreme heat,
- Avoiding exposure to sudden temperature changes;
- Performing regular maintenance, especially drying it after a match if it is damp, before ideally storing it in a protective cover;
